From October 24th to 27th, 2022, the ICT Week Uzbekistan - 2022 information and communication technology week was held in Samarkand, at the Silk Road Samarkand Complex. During this event, 22 international events took place, attended by over 15,000 people.

The ICT Week summit, which opened the week, attracted 708 attendees (including more than 20 representatives from ministries and agencies for digital transformation), as well as important guests from the US, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, among other countries. The summit also featured presentations from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Regional Cellular Communications Council (RCC), Veon Group, Meta, and UN representatives.

During the summit, the opening ceremony for the Plug and Play initiative in Uzbekistan was held, as well as an acceleration program for startups.The Digital Eurasia Forum discussed such topics as digital (electronic) government, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, information and cybersecurity, virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR), and financial technologies (Fintech).

Experts from over 20 international companies, including "Meta" (XR Lab), Veon, Innotech, SAP, KPMG, Huawei, Beeline, and Astana Hub, spoke at the forum, which drew over 350 attendees.
