On May 15, 2025, the eighth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkey was successfully held in Tashkent. Within the framework of the event, the Uzbekistan–Turkey Business Forum and Industrial Exhibition were also organized. The official delegations were led by Jamshid Qo‘chqorov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Minister of Economy and Finance, and Jevdet Yılmaz, Vice President of the Republic of Turkey.
